16 St Georges Square, situated in the centre of the historical town of Stamford, dates from 1881 and was designed by Edward Browning.  It is a large, four floored family home with a lovely south facing walled garden, victorian fireplaces and a wonderful tiled and beamed main entrance hall.  The house sits in a beautiful Georgian Square which was the centre of filming for Pride and Prejudice and the BBC film of Middlemarch.  The two large bed and breakfast rooms overlook St George's Church, which was built in the 13th Century, and added to in the 15th century. The breakfast dining room, on the main entrance floor, overlooks the garden.
