Bed & Breakfast accommodation in St Georges Square, Stamford, Lincolnshire
The Rectory, 16 St Georges Square, situated right in the heart of the historical town of Stamford, dates from 1881 and was designed by Edward Browning. It is a large, four floored home with a lovely south facing walled garden, victorian fireplaces and a wonderful tiled and beamed main entrance hall. The house sits in a beautiful Georgian Square which was the centre of filming for Pride and Prejudice and the BBC film of Middlemarch. The two large bed and breakfast rooms overlook St George's Church, which was built in the 13th Century, and added to in the 15th century. The breakfast dining room, on the main entrance floor, overlooks the walled garden.
The bed and breakfast rooms are part of our family home. We offer an unrivalled central but quiet location, a friendly welcome, comfort, spacious rooms with character and great value. Take a look at the photos of the rooms!
